Level 3 Hairdressing student Rachel McAllister works at Platinum Hair, located on Bachelor's Walk, Lisburn and is making a big impression at her salon and further afield with her involvement in fashion shows and photoshoots. Salon manager Jenny Dalzell (pictured above, left, with Rachel) is 100% behind Rachel in encouraging her to grow her experience in these areas and has been training Rachel to take over for her as head stylist at Oonagh Boman’s School of Makeup photoshoots. These photoshoots take place for student portfolios and over her time working with Jenny Rachel has been taking on more and more responsibility in this area.

Jenny has also involved Rachel in styling at local fashion shows, including a recent wedding show in Lisburn. The show was led by Platinum Hair who were joined by other exhibitors promoting their wedding services. Rachel was involved backstage providing upstyles for the catwalk models. She was also involved with a recent charity fashion show assisting with upstyles for 28 models!
