Cash for Kids Day 2014

The 2014 Cash for Kids Day took place on Friday 4th April in aid of CLIC Sargent, Northern Ireland's leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families. Concentrix, a multi-national company with offices based in Belfast get involved with the fundraising each year and got in touch with The Academy Hair & Beauty Training School requesting the services of our wonderful Beauty Therapy students at a sponsored leg wax in Belfast City Centre. How could we refuse such a worthy cause?

And they certainly felt the pain...
Our Beauty Therapy students were hard at work making Concentrix staff sweat for Cash for Kids.
But it was all in aid of a very worthy cause. Well done to the men who volunteered for the waxing experience. It can't have been an easy task. Our beauty therapy students were delighted to be able to use their skills for such a fantastic charity and had a great time on the day.
